Where will you go in 2026?
As we start winding down 2025 (we can't believe it is already December) we can't help but look back and reflect on all the places we've been, all the things we have seen, and all the wonderful and unexpected experiences we have shared together and with our family and friends.
And of course, we can't help but start dreaming of our travel plans for 2026. Some of those are starting to take shape. We are taking our Bucket List Trip to Antarctica in late February, which is what prompted us to book the Princess Cruise Line Deal (40% of 2nd sailor and Included Princess Plus Package) so we could visit Australia and Asia before our 7th Continent of Antarctica. I still find it hard to believe we have now been to 6 Continents, including Australia - it seemed like we were forever saying we haven't been to Australia yet. ✨Travel Tips: A note about booking cruises and cruise fares
3. One thing we have learned about booking cruises is that all fares are not created equally. Some cruise fares are just the fare so you'll need to pay taxes and port fees. Some include the gratuities and some you'll need to add that. Drinks? Wifi? Will that be a separate cost or it is already included? What about Shore Excursions?
So when you look at the base fare or what's included know that all the extras can add up and booking a supplier that may "look" a little more expensive may actually save you money in the long run.
